RuralMinistryConference.org is managed by Village Missions. Village Missions is committed to respecting the privacy of our donors and constituents. We have developed this privacy policy to ensure our donors and constituents that their information will not be shared with any third party.

Village Missions is committed to respecting your online privacy and security. We’ve structured our website so that, in general, you can visit us on the web without identifying yourself or revealing any personal information. Once you choose to provide us personally identifiable information (any information by which you can be identified), you can be assured that it will only be used to support your relationship with Village Missions.

Awareness

Village Missions provides this Privacy Policy to make you aware of our privacy policy, and to inform you of the way your information is used. We also provide you with the opportunity to remove your name from our mailing list, if you desire to do so.

Information Collected

Village Missions does not knowingly collect or maintain any personal information from children under the age of thirteen (13). Here are the types of donor and constituent information that we collect and maintain:

  • Contact information: name, organization/church, complete address, phone number, email address;
  • Payment information: credit card number and expiration date, and billing information;
  • Shipping information: name, organization/church, complete address;
  • Information concerning how you heard about Village Missions;
  • Information you wish to share: questions, comments, suggestions; and
  • Your request to receive periodic updates; e.g., to individuals who request it, we will send periodic mailings related to specific fund-raising appeals, prayer concerns, and newsletters.

How Information is Used

Village Missions uses your information to understand your needs and provide you with better service. Specifically, we use your information to help you complete a transaction, communicate back to you, and update you on ministry happenings. Credit card numbers are used only for donation or payment processing and are not retained for other purposes. We use the comments you offer to provide you with information requested, and we take seriously each recommendation as to how we might improve communication.

Village Missions uses third party organizations that comply with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard to process donations and does not retain your credit card information. Once your donation has been registered, we dispose of your credit card information.

No Sharing of Personal Information

Village Missions will not sell, rent, or lease your personal information to other organizations. We assure you that the identity of all our donors and constituents will be kept confidential. Use of donor and constituents information will be limited to the internal purposes of Village Missions and only to further the ministry activities and purposes of Village Missions.

Removing Your Name from Our Mailing List

We do not wish to send unwanted mail to our donors or constituents. Please contact us if you wish to be removed from our mailing list. Please send your request to be removed to P.O. Box 197, Dallas, OR 97338 or partner@villagemissions.org.

Information Security

Village Missions is committed to ensuring the security of your information. We endeavor to maintain physical, technical and procedural safeguards that are appropriate to the sensitivity of any personal information submitted. These safeguards are designed to prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy and ensure the proper use of information.

Village Missions uses Internet Encryption Software, Secure Socket Layer (SSL) Protocol when collecting or transferring sensitive information. This information, once received, is accessible only to a small number of trusted Village Missions employees who have been trained in processing this information.

All credit card transitions on RuralMinistryConference.org are conducted through a secure third party called “Stripe.” No Village Missions staff have access to payment information submitted through this website. Read the Stripe Security Policy here.

Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable. Therefore, while this website strives to protect your information, we cannot guarantee the security of any information you transmit to us, and you do so at your own risk.
