Missions is central to the local church’s very existence. As theologian George Vicedom explained, “the church is not called on to decide whether she will carry on the mission or not. She can only decide for herself whether she wants to be the church.” In an effort to do missions well, we will explore how the local church can develop a theology, philosophy, strategy and methodology of missions.
